I’m very excited to be joining you as a Fellow on the PLP journey. My name is Lynn Ochs and I currently serve as the Technology Coordinator at Milford Exempted Village SD.

After growing up in Rockford, IL and attending University of Illinois, I launched my teaching career in Houston, Texas where I taught 3rd grade and served as a Teacher Technologist, K-6 and Magnet School Coordinator. I ventured into administration after receiving my Master’s Degree from University of Houston – Clear Lake (NASA turf). I wandered back to Illinois in 1990 with 2 children in tow and one on the way. A mere 1.5 years later I landed in Cincinnati, with 3 children. Amazing how that happens!

I started my career all over again in Ohio, and stayed busy over the next few years as a district technology coordinator, ESC curriculum specialist, SchoolNet faculty, curriculum and technology specialist and data guru. (I really can hold down a job!) I’m excited to have recently joined Milford SD (8/09) as their technology coordinator with a focus on long-range planning and professional development.

Throughout my many years of educational experience I have held on to the belief that technology is a powerful catalyst for change in the classroom. I am sincerely looking forward to working with all of you as we expand our knowledge, ideas and practice.

Happy Trails!
